STB retreat

The Singapore Tourism Board business event group recently had their retreat on the 16th of March 2007 in Pulau Ubin. It was a hot sunny day and the group arrived at Ubin jetty at around 3pm and was greeted by Mdm Kamariah. The 8 of them which made up the group consisted of - Nadra, Lee, Doris, Tim, Angie, Kia Ranjini and Marcus.

The retreat started off with them making ice kacang. After quenching their thirst, we started the jungle trekking to collect the herbs and leaves needed for the cooking session, this lasted for about half an hour. Upon returning to the house, we then started the team building cooking session. The eight of them were separated into two different teams and they worked well between themselves. All of them peeled, sliced and pounded like seasoned chefs. Once the cooking was completed and the end results being dinner, they tucked into their creations of NasiUlam(herb rice), buttered prawns, Ubin sambal and ice kacang. At around 6:15pm, after a day of fun, laughter and good food, the 8 of them made their way to the Ubin jetty to head home to mainland Singapore.
